Championship golf courses, sport fishing, beaches and parks for running and biking – this area has all the makings of an active, healthy vacation. Professional spectator sports as well have a great presence in Tampa with the NFL Buccaneers for football and Tampa Bay Devil Rays for major league baseball, so plan to take the whole family to a game. You can also watch thoroughbred racing at Tampa Bay Downs or for a change, try the Tampa Greyhound Track. 

Museums are plentiful. The Museum of Science and Industry and the Tampa Museum of Art can be explored for hours without seeing everything. For a more eclectic experience, visit the Salvador Dali Museum where you can see almost 100 of the celebrated Spanish Surrealist’s paintings.
